From 29th December to 1st January 2018, there will be a Christian conference (EXPLO 17 – LINK) taking place under the motto “New Land”, with a truly large number of professional artists taking place.

Explo and Artists
In an ‘Art Zone’, there will be a display of contemporary visual arts, part of it offering interaction with the public. In ‘Art Samplers’, dancers, visual artists and authors will appear at different points on the EXPLO grounds. On small stages, jazz musicians, singer/songwriters and classical musicians will perform, and the main stage, too, provides (limited) space for artistic contributions. In a ‘Prayer Oasis’, 10 musicians from “Crescendo” will be providing improvised musical prayer (“Play & Pray”) and, finally, the artists’ network ARTS+ will conduct a seminar on the topic “Art and Faith – Your Kingdom Come!”.
Since the total of over 5000 participants, including speakers, expected at the EXPLO represent a very broad denominational spectrum (and thus testify impressively to the cooperation between confessions), it is important that artists take part and give a signal that art has its place in the churches (and in the Kingdom of God generally).

Livestream
Today, exceptionally, the TUNE IN consists of an invitation: either to come to the EXPLO yourself, if you live close by (day visitors are welcome too) or to make use of the Livestream facilities. What is offered here is very diverse. Alone the topic “New Land” awakens a sense of expectation regarding the contributions coming from highly interesting speakers. These will inspire hope and open up new perspectives on our lives. Here is the information from those responsible for the Livestream at EXPLO 17. All the organisation of EXPLO 17 is by Campus for Christ (Link), Switzerland, a body to which Crescendo (the editor of these TUNE INs) too, belongs.
“With more than 5‘000 guests being part of Explo, we will be celebrating Jesus Christ, meet in unity with Christians from all different Traditions, Churches and Nations. It is our 8th Explo and each one of them has been an extraordinary Event, which united us as Christians, helped to learn from each other and from a large variety of excellent teachers and leaders as speakers. But most of all it has always been a place where we have worshipped and celebrated our God and his Spirit has blessed us with his presence and his calling on our lives. Many delegates tell us about how their life has been transformed, projects could be started and friendships have been formed.
We have planned a Livestream, which will provide you with all the main talks and worship times. It will be available in English, French and German.”

Unter dem Motto „Neuland“ findet  vom 29.Dezember bis 1.Januar 2018 eine christliche Konferenz (EXPLO 17 – LINK) statt, in der recht viele professionelle Künstler mitwirken.

Explo und Künstler
In einer Kunstzone wird zeitgenössische visuelle Kunst gezeigt und zum Teil interaktiv mit dem Publikum gestaltet. In Kunst-Sonden treten an verschiedenen Orten des EXPLO-Geländes Tänzer, bildende Künstler und Schriftsteller auf. Auf einer kleinen Bühne werden Jazzmusiker, Singer/Songwriter und klassische Musiker zu hören sein, und auch auf der Hauptbühne gibt es (begrenzten) Raum für künstlerische Beiträge. In einer Gebets-Oase wird zudem „Crescendo“ mit zehn Musikerinnen musikalisch improvisiertes Gebet (“Play & Pray”) erklingen lassen, und schliesslich führen wir vom Künstler-Netzwerk ARTS+ aus ein Seminar zum Thema “Kunst und Glaube – dein Reich komme!” durch.
Da die 6000 erwarteten EXPLO-Teilnehmer und auch –Referenten ein sehr breites kirchliches Spektrum abdecken (und damit ein eindrückliches Zeugnis vom Zusammengehen der Konfessionen ablegen), ist die Mitwirkung der Künstler wichtig und ein Signal, dass Kunst in den Kirchen (und überhaupt im Reich Gottes) Platz hat.

Einladung zum Livestream
Dieses TUNE IN besteht für einmal in einer Einladung: Entweder selber an die EXPLO zu kommen, wenn man in der Nähe wohnt (auch Tagesgäste sind willkommen) oder vom Livestream-Angebot Gebrauch zu machen. Dieses Angebot ist vielfältig. Allein das Thema „Neuland“ macht gespannt auf die spannenden Beiträge von höchst interessanten Rednern. Sie werden Hoffnung wecken und neue Lebensperspektiven aufzeigen.
Hier die Information der EXPLO 17 – Verantwortlichen zum Livestream. EXPLO 17 wird übrigens von der Organisation Campus für Christus Schweiz (Link) organisiert, zu der Crescendo gehört.
“Mit mehr als 5000 Gästen werden wir an der Explo Jesus Christus feiern und in Einheit mit Christen verschiedenster Traditionen, Kirchen und Ländern zusammen sein. Es ist unsere 8.Explo! Jede dieser Konferenzen war einzigartig. Jedemal erlebten wir eine besondere Einheit unter den Christen. Wir lernten voneinander –  uns von ganz verschiedenen, ausgezeichneten Lehrern, Rednerinnen und christlichen Leiterinnen.Vor allem aber  waren es auch jedes Mal Zeiten, in denen wir Gott preisen und das Wirken des Heiligen Geistes erfahren durften. Wir hören immer wieder davon, wie Berufungen deutlich wurden, wie Teilnehmer Veränderung erlebten, wie Projekte ihren Anfang nahmen und Freundschaften entstanden.
Wir haben einen Livestream geplant, der alle Hauptreferate und Anbetungszeiten übermittelt. Er wird auf Französisch, Englisch und Deutsch zu empfangen sein!”
