In the long hours of this lockdown, many people have time to reflect on the Passion and Easter at home. Art and music can help us to meditate on the salvific events surrounding the Cross and the Resurrection and to forge a new inner connection with them.

Friends of Crescendo will be especially glad to encounter here David Delta Gier (director of the South Dakota Symphony), Dr. Marcel Zwitser (musicologist, the Netherlands), Steven Condy (baritone, USA) and Timothy Bentch (tenor, USA). David and Marcel have been active in our movement for many years: in the USA, in the Netherlands and at the “Crescendo Summer Institute”, where also Steven was part of the faculty. Timothy is a pastor and singer. He worked in Hungary for many years as a singer and leader of Song of the Nations and Crescendo and was a co-founder and long-time leader of the Summer Institute.

In den Stunden des Lockdowns haben viele Menschen Zeit, zuhause über Passion und Ostern nachzudenken.  Kunst und Musik können uns helfen, das heilsgeschichtliche Geschehen rund um Kreuz und Auferstehung zu meditieren und uns innerlich neu damit zu verbinden.

In diesem Jahr laden wir ein, sehr intressante  Beiträge zur Johannes-Passion anzuhören: LINK
Besonders schön ist für Freunde von Crescendo die Begegnung mit David Delta Gier (Leiter der South Dakota Symphony), Dr. Marcel Zwitser (Musikwissenschafter, Niederlande), Steven Condy (Bariton, USA) und Timothy Bentch (USA). David und Marcel setzen sich seit Jahren in unserer Bewegung ein: in den USA, in den Niederlanden und im “Crescendo Sommerinstitut“, wo auch Steven Dozent war. Timothy ist Pastor und Sänger. Er war über viele Jahre in Ungarn tätig; er leitete Song for the Nations / Crescendo und war Mitbegründer und langjähriger Leiter des Sommerinstituts.
