Every morning, as I wake up, I meditate upon this beautiful painting of Rembrandt. I can feel the unconditional love of the Father for me at all times. It makes me think of Psalm 139:

“You have searched me, Lord, and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar.  You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways.  Before a word is on my tongue you, Lord, know it completely.  You hem me in behind and before, and you lay your hand upon me.”

I feel secure in the arms of the Father and this is a good way to begin the day. Even if I have difficulties with somebody, I know that the Father is for me.

Jeden Morgen, wenn ich aufwache, nehme ich dieses schöne Bild von  Rembrandt in mich auf und meditiere darüber. Ich kann die bedingungslose Liebe des Vaters spüren, die jederzeit da ist. Dies erinnert mich an Psalm 139:

“HERR, du erforschest mich und kennest mich. Ich sitze oder stehe auf, so weißt du es; du verstehst meine Gedanken von ferne. Ich gehe oder liege, so bist du um mich und siehst alle meine Wege. Denn siehe, es ist kein Wort auf meiner Zunge, das du, HERR, nicht alles wüsstest. Von allen Seiten umgibst du mich und hältst deine Hand über mir.” 

Ich fühle mich sicher in den Armen des Vaters, und dies ist ein guter Anfang  feel secure in the arms of the Father and this is a good way to begin the day. Even if I have difficulties with somebody, I know that the Father is for me.
